Michelle Johnston is a Certified Nutritional Practitioner, Restorative Yoga Teacher, and Business Consultant. In 2003 she founded WorkingWell – Workplace Wellness Solutions to inspire healthy change in organizations across Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Toronto and is currently completing her diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition.

Michelle is passionate about health, innovation and employee engagement. As a leader with a proven track record in the area of Workplace Wellness, she is the person many organizations turn to for assistance when launching a wellness program for the first time or when their wellness program in need of revitalization. Michelle is a creative problem solver who provides leading-edge solutions that support the business strategy of her clients as well as the needs of their employees.

Since 2006 Michelle has managed all aspects of the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario’s wellness program which has helped them win Canada’s Top 100 Employer award 5 times, and the GTAs Top 75 Employer award 7 times. Her services were instrumental in helping Morguard Investments Limited win Gold in the area of workplace wellness in the 2013 Canada’s Safest Employers Awards.

Dr. Inna Vendrov serves as the Wellness Program Manager at WorkingWell where she applies her expertise to build custom health solutions for our clients and is involved in the development of our Wellness Programs. She is a researcher and writer and contributes to our Wellness Newsletters, ensuring the latest research and industry news reach your employees nationwide. She is also involved in organizing some of our on-site Wellness Fairs and Lunch and Learns, seeking to bring the leading speakers and top experts in the health industry to your workplace.

Through her experience in her private practice, she has gained a great understanding of the common health challenges faced by the busy professionals in this day and age and an appreciation for what it takes to empower people to take control of their health. Her focus at WorkingWell is to bring forth simple and manageable custom solutions that will help your employees regain their sense of balance and well being, inevitably turning them into a happier, healthier, and more productive workforce.

Dr. Inna Vendrov is a Naturopathic Doctor and expert in natural health, integrative medicine and preventative care. She completed an Honours degree in Biotechnology followed by a 4-year Doctorate program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). She has a clinical focus on stress related imbalances, weight management, improving sleep and energy, and enhancing well-being and quality of life.

Lisa Tsakos


Registered Holistic Nutritionist

Lisa Tsakos, RHN, is a nationally-recognized nutritionist and educator specializing in weight management and corporate nutrition programs. She has been featured on television and radio programs across Canada and the U.S., including Wylde on Health, The Better Show and the Discovery Channel and is a contributor to to various websites including Naturally Savvy and The Huffington Post Canada (blog).

Her articles have appeared in magazines and newspapers around the world. Additionally, she authored two books before co-authoring Unjunk Your Junk Food: Healthy Alternatives to Conventional Snacks (Simon & Schuster). WorkingWell is honoured to have Lisa Tsakos as a key member of our nutrition team.

Heather Davies

Registered Holistic Nutritionist

Heather Davies is a Toronto-based Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN) and Nutritional Consultant with WorkingWell where she strives to bring healthy eating to hard-working employees across Canada.  Adopting a whole foods, healthful, and nutrient dense diet that is simple and sustainable is at the core of Heather’s teachings.  Her main areas of interest include; optimal energy, digestive issues and disorders, women’s health, and blood sugar management.

Heather is a Nutritionist with the Toronto District School Board and also works as a Clinical Research Assistant at Glycemic Index Laboratories.  She holds a Diploma in Natural Nutrition from The Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, a Bachelor of Commerce (Organizational Behaviour) from McGill University, a Bachelor of Applied Arts (Communications) from Ryerson University, and a Certificate in Health & Nutrition from George Brown College.

In her spare time, she can be found playing hockey, cycling around town, or blending up her favourite Kale-Almond-Coconut Smoothie!

Esther Epp


Holistic Nutritionist, Yoga Instructor & Kinesiologist

As a Registered Kinesiologist, Certified Holistic Nutritionist, and Yoga Instructor, Esther Epp is committed to helping people achieve the health and vitality they desire. Her practice is unique because she focuses on all aspects of wellness including diet, physical health, emotional health and environment. Through her private practice, public speaking, work with WorkingWell, television appearances, and writing engagements, she spreads her passion for clean living and loves helping people uncover sources of chemicals in their food, environment and the home.


Claire Girgis


Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine

Claire is an integral part of the WorkingWell team, delivering highly informative, engaging seminars, workshops and lunch & learns in the areas of: stress management, immune health, nutrition, getting restful sleep, headache prevention and management, and many more. Her workshops are highly interactive and extremely educational.

Claire Girgis is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) and has been in private practice since January 2010.  She is a licensed and registered Naturopathic Doctor specializing in preventative medicine.

Claire completed her clinical internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, teaching clinic at CCNM. She began her naturopathic education following her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Toronto where she studied life sciences.

Liz Rice, B.A.Sc

Environmental & Health Speaker

20 years of having very poor health, made Liz passionate about encouraging others to invest more in theirs.  Liz is an environmental & health speaker specializing in toxicity and the interaction between the environment and human health.

After 10 years in the corporate world, and greatly improved health, Liz combined her love of environment issues + everything that she learned navigating her own health issues and started her own company.  Since 2010 she’s been delivering practical presentations on how we can minimize the toxins that we inhale and ingest with topics such as: “No Scents Makes Sense” and “The Pitfalls of Plastics”.

WorkingWell is happy to have Liz on board delivering training encouraging scent-free work environments and Lunch & Learn presentations about best practices for using and microwaving plastics.
